Commemorative Hearings are an opportunity for families of the 22 victims to pay tribute to their loved ones. Hearings continue on Monday 21 September 2020 at 09:30. Each tribute, or pen portrait, will take place over the next three days with a schedule available here.

Manchester Arena Inquiry started 7 September 2020

Manchester Arena Inquiry oral evidence hearings began on 7 September 2020 at Manchester Magistrates Court. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, it is not possible for members of the public to attend Inquiry hearings. As a result, hearings will be live-streamed to the Inquiry YouTube channel.

A ruling from the Chair on Core Participant status and the disclosure of Security Experts’ report to the Health and Safety Executive

The Chairman of the Manchester Arena Inquiry, Sir John Saunders, has made a ruling on the application for Core Participant status by Kyle Lawler, and a ruling on the disclosure of the Security Experts’ report to the Health and Safety Executive. Hearings during July and August 2020

Following the (virtual) preliminary hearing that took place on the 13 July 2020 there are further hearings scheduled before the Inquiry start date in September 2020. They are as follows – a virtual hearing due to take place on 23 July and a further hearing on the 12 August 2020.
