The Manchester Arena Inquiry main hearings began on 7th September at Manchester Magistrates Court. The Inquiry’s purpose is to investigate the deaths of the 22 victims of the 2017 Manchester Arena attack.

The Inquiry is operating with limited attendance due to Covid-19 and so it is not currently possible for members of the public to attend in person.  Anyone who would like to follow proceedings can do so in a variety of ways:

  • The Inquiry will provide a video feed of each day’s proceedings on its Youtube channel, and you find this here.
  • Transcripts of the day’s proceedings will be published on the Manchester Arena Inquiry website each day, alongside evidence shown in the hearings.
  • The Inquiry will publish updates and information on its social media feeds on twitter @mcrinquiry

Support is available for anyone affected by the attack throughout the inquiry. For a list of organisations visit the support page of our website: here

The Manchester Arena Inquiry will continue to operate in-person hearings during the national lockdown in England which began on 5th November 2020. You can read the news article here.
