Chapter 14 Hearing, 14 February

The Inquiry is hearing Chapter 14 evidence covering preventability.

On 14 February the Inquiry will hear evidence from Temporary Detective Inspector Paul Costello and Former Detective Inspector Frank Morris from Greater Manchester Police.

The Inquiry is hearing Chapter 10 and 12 evidence covering care gap evidence and recommendations.

On 17 January, the Inquiry will hear evidence on the care gap from Dr Mathieu Langlois, former Senior Doctor for RAID (French National Police Intervention Unit), Richard Thomas, Head of Specialist and Counter Terrorism Armed Policing (CTPHQ), and Pre-Hospital Doctors Lt Col Claire Park and Dr Gareth Davies.

Chapter 10 and 12 Hearing (care gap evidence and recommendations), 13 January

The Inquiry is hearing Chapter 10 and 12 evidence covering care gap evidence and recommendations.

The Inquiry heard evidence on the care gap from Keith Prior, National Director for the National Ambulance Resilience Unit, Thomas Hurst, Medical Director for London’s Air Ambulance, and Edward Baker, Chief Inspector of Hospitals at the Care Quality Commission.

Chapters 7, 10 and 12 Hearing (monitored recommendations; care gap evidence and recommendations), 11 January

The Inquiry is hearing Chapter 7 evidence covering Volume One monitored recommendations and Chapter 10 and 12 evidence covering care gap evidence and recommendations.

The Inquiry heard evidence from Shaun Hipgrave, Director of Protect and Prepare for the Office for Security and Counter Terrorism on Volume One monitored recommendations.

The Inquiry also heard evidence and recommendations relating to the care gap from John Lawrie, Intelligence Analyst and Political Consultant. Mr Lawrie’s evidence will will be heard in a restricted session. We will then hear from John Rowe, Acting Deputy Director of Operational Strategy for the Health and Safety Executive, and Shaun Hipgrave, who will return to give evidence on the care gap.
