Chapter 8 Hearing, 7 December

The Inquiry is hearing Chapter 8 evidence related to planning and preparation for the attack.

The Inquiry heard evidence from DCS Simon Barraclough from Greater Manchester Police, Bob Gallagher Forensic and Digital Investigations Manager at Greater Manchester Police, and Lorna Hills (née Philp) Principal Case Officer in Forensic Explosives, DSTL.

The hearing was streamed to the Inquiry YouTube channel. The stream was operating on a 10-minute delay.

Chapter 8 hearings started 7 December 2020

Chapter 8 hearings started on Monday 7 December. This chapter will consider evidence related to planning and preparation for the attack and will conclude on Wednesday 16th December.

The timetable for evidence to be heard between the 14th-16th December is available here.

Evidence on the morning of Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th December will not be broadcast on YouTube as restriction orders are in place which prevent the publication of certain details.

All remaining evidence will be streamed to the Inquiry YouTube channel which will be operating on a 10-minute delay.
