Volume 2 is divided into two sub-volumes: Volume 2-I and Volume 2-II. Volume 2-I is 695 pages long. Volume 2-I begins with a Preface and then continues with Parts 9 to 16. Volume 2-II is 189 pages long. It contains Parts 17 to 21 and the Appendices. A list of the names of the twenty-two who died is at page vii of Volume 2-I and at page iii of Volume 2-II.

Philip Tron

Philip Tron was unlawfully killed on 22nd May 2017 in the City Room of the Manchester Arena in the Victoria Exchange Complex.

When the bomb was detonated, Philip Tron was approximately four metres from the seat of the explosion.125

Following the detonation, Philip Tron was lying on his front on the floor of the City Room. He appeared to be unconscious.126

An ETUK first aider and a police officer checked on Philip Tron but he was unresponsive. By 22:51, Philip Tron was covered with clothing.127

A tag was placed on Philip Tron at 23:28 to confirm that he was dead.128

A post‑mortem examination confirmed that Philip Tron’s death was caused by multiple injuries. These injuries were sustained as a result of the explosion. His injuries were unsurvivable.129
